About me

I’m a mature woman who has had many life experiences – some good and some not so good. While my story isn’t unique, I wanted a place to record my experiences and random thoughts. My comments and observations are not meant to offend and I apologize if they have.

I am a private person. So it’s odd to want to post such personal stuff for the world to see. In fact, I’ve had this site for a while and didn’t do anything with it.

I would ask that you, the reader, not judge. Some of this stuff is pure fiction and some is based on fact. I’ll try to categorize my writing so you know which is which. I also write some random stuff. You’ll notice that some of my older blogs are just dates. The dated items are my thoughts and feelings at the time. You’d be surprised how many memory sticks I have! As I was searching through some of my older pieces, I re-read them and my older heart and mind provided a fresh perspective. Sometimes my thoughts were too harsh or maybe just plain wrong. But they were my thoughts at the time.

I do have two people to thank. The first is my niece, Lisa. She read something I wrote and asked to read more. Her words of encouragement meant a lot to me. The second is my brother, Dan. He recently passed away and I never got the chance to share any of my writing with him. Writing his eulogy made me realize that life was too short and reminded me how much I enjoyed writing. Out of some sadness came some joy.
